Prof. Shuyan Liu

Dr. Shuyan Liu is Junior Professor of Global Mental Health at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Brain City Ambassador in Berlin. Her research is concerned with the complex interactions between the environment and mental health, at a global level. Prof. Liu has expertise in loneliness, problematic substance use, digital mental health, environment and global mental health, and environmental health ethics. She is particularly interested in understanding the ubiquity of loneliness and its impact.
